What a thrill it was to be up late last night (early this morning?) to watch Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France absolutely manhandle Rafael Nadal in their semifinal match at the Australian Open in Melbourne. Tsonga completely dominated, 6-2. 6-3. 6-2, even making the muscular Spaniard look small and weak on court. Tsonga's infectious smile was beautiful to see (I think I was smiling as big as he was) and after such a performance I'm not surprised to see it carried over into the postmatch press conference (wouldn't you?). The French hunk will meet the winner of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic in the finals.
