Fire and Ice

My sister e-mailed a friend of ours out in Southern California to see how he was coping with the fires. His (hilarious) response follows:

We are fine here, thanks. Luckily we're poor and live in an all concrete area so I think we're safe!! I'm just sick of the ash and campfire smell. I'm sorry everyone's losing their homes but how long am I supposed to put up with these smoke-headaches? (j/k I feel awful for those people). Oh, and I did get poofed in the face with ash when I started my car the other day. I always leave my vents on so right when I started the car I got nailed! Thank GOD I hadn't opened my Diet Coke yet! ;)
