Page 1 Consider (09/14)

  • Forget Gaydar: Want to know if they're gay or straight? Just watch 'em walk. (MSNBC)

  • 40 Candles: This is a sweet commentary by a lesbian copy editor at The Advocate, Teresa Morrison, who's also turning 40 this year. (Advocate)

  • A Boy Named Lindsey: Is Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina a closet case? Well, his anti-gay voting record certainly would indicate he is. (CityPaper)

  • Reality Bites: Man charged in attack on "Top" lesbian. (WABC)

  • Handywoman: Leave it to a lesbian to get the rules changed. (GayWired)

  • Follow the Spouse: In yet another example of the disparity between same-sex couples and married heterosexuals, a Pennsylvania woman has been denied unemployment benefits after moving to Florida with her partner of eight years. (Advocate)

  • Cheese Whiz: The season premiere of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" was hilarious (I'm thinking the two-year hiatus was a wise one after the show's last anemic season). Jeff Garlin is always great and his new film, "I Want Someone to Each Cheese With," might be next on my list. (AP)

  • Big Hair Tate: Jodie Foster shows what happens when lesbians try to get dolled up. (JustJared)

  • McGreedy: Former Jersey governor James McGreevey's estranged wife, Dina Matos McGreevey, is asking that her support be upped to $11,162 per month. (AP)

  • The Bare Facts: A new Reuters article surmises that two decades after the nude photo scandal that cost Vanessa Williams her Miss America title, Americans may be adopting a more ho-hum attitude toward people who bare it all for the cameras. (Ya think?!) (Reuters)

  • Fred's Flop: George F. Will's column of why Fred Thompson's presidential bid is as necessary as New Coke is worth a read. (WP)

I know this could cause some bad karma for me, but it would be worth it...I having been praying for a Lindsey Graham downfall for YEARS!! He is ripe for a scandal. It's like he's "sexually repressed" personified.
