Morning Wood: Shayne Ward

I discovered this young Britpopstar -- who is a bizarrely sexy cross between Chris Evans and Adam Sandler (watch his latest video below for full effect) -- over on my new fave music blog, Chart Rigger. Sexy Shayne apparently won a U.K. talent show called "X Factor" back in 2005, but if you think his music couldn't possibly be as tight as his body you're not alone. Check out what J'ason D'uv and Moogaboo have to say about our Morning Wood star, whose case of wiggeritis rivals that of Justin Timberlake, who I thought pretty much had the market cornered.

OMG Shayne Ward is amazing! Despite all the banter, this song will sell! If he can cross over to the states, he'll definitely do well! I was surprised to see you feature him on the blog as I had blogged his video a few weeks back and have been enamored since! Definitely a good piece of eye candy! Thanks for posting the pics too Kenneth! :D

He is so ridiculously sexy. Hot! But is that the most tragic song ever? And that dance move? Hilarious

One word for him: PLAIN. (Feel free to remove the L if you want to describe his songs though.)

Ha Ha! I'm with Desperate Houseboy on Shayne's music, although the video for the new one won me over... he's certainly buffed-up since his last album.

Thanks for the love, Kenneth! I've added your rad site to the blogroll.

Shayne has got an English hooligan vibe that I'm digging... Ridiculous song, but who cares?

Wow, who is his choreographer? Half of those moves Britney already did, and the other half I've seen Janet and Justin do.

And that vocal effect can only be used for dance-pop-techno music. And he's doing something along the lines of reggae-pop.

He should just stand around and look pretty.

Very sexy, but the song is terrible and the video makes no sense with the lyrics. I liked it better when I watched it at work with the sound off.

OMG is right --thanks so much for introducing Shayne. Almost didn't click the link when you tossed in Adam Sandler [WTF? how'd that image get in your head, and don't hurt others by putting it in their's]. ha. He's gorgeous [more cross between David Beckem and Collin Ferril] AND he's got an incredible voice...AND seems thoroughly sincere [getting all choked up thanking everybody--could you just die?!] purpurpur

Chris Evans, yes. But Adam Sandler!? Shane was over here there a while back, playing up his Irish roots. (I mean, with a name like Ward...)

the remix of the song (by moto blanco) makes it a lot more bearable.
