So 'Sorry' I Said

Isaiah Washington has broken his silence about being fired from "Grey's Anatomy," only this time it's the media's fault that he created a hostile work environment by calling his co-worker T.R. Knight a "faggot" on the set and then denying it on national television in front of everyone, including Knight (so much for that "apology").

"I can only apologize so many times," he says. "I can only accept so much responsibility. All the players involved have taken care of what we needed to take care of in-house -- and the media took it in a different direction. I hope that everyone is happy for the outcome for Isaiah, but Isaiah will go on and do what I love to do."

You know how the media loves to take verbal assaults in all sorts of "different directions." And let's not forget that there was physical assault on Patrick Dempsey as well. (People)

The "so much responsibility" bit annoyed me, too.

Also, his referring to himself in the third person - sign of an out of control ego, indeed.

The fact that he doesn't even know where he stands with TR Knight proves he didn't do jackshit to apologize to the dude's face and perhaps reconcile. What a complete assclown!
