Page 1 Consider (03/14)

  • Pink Is the New Biatch: For those of you who have been fortunate enough to miss out on this gay drama, former singer Lance Bass supposedly dumped his boyfriend Reichen for cheating on him with "Real World" cutie Davis. Now unlike me, my favorite celebrity blogger, fellow ex-Detroiter Trent Vanegas, rarely has anything mean to say about anyone, so I laughed doubly hard when I saw this catty little gem summing up the whole situation yesterday on Pink Is the New Blog: "While the thought of Reichen hooking up with Real World: Denver cutie Davis is ... intriguing ... I find it UTTERLY hilarious that the two of them would hook-up in the first place. Isn't Davis like 19? ... isn't Reichen like 40?" (PITNB)

  • Didn't Ask, Don't Tell: Gay advocacy groups are demanding an apology from Marine Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for calling homosexuality immoral and likening it to adultery. Pace refused to apologize, but by day's end was saying he wished he'd focused more in the interview on the Defense Department policy about gays -- and "less on my personal moral views." I couldn't agree with him more, although I'd skip the apology altogether and settle for a one-time bitch slap. (AP)

  • Too Many Janet Cookes In the Kitchen: Does plagiarism run in the family? (NYT)

  • Nancy Leiberman Redux: A women's basketball coach having an affair with one of her players? Get out! (AfterEllen)

  • The Color of Money? Some people have begun questioning Cyndi Lauper's motives for her upcoming True Colors tour, which has been billed as event to raise awareness for gay rights with proceeds earmarked for the Human Rights Campaign. Why? One reason might be that tickets are priced at $50 to $205.50, yet only $1 of each one sold is going to "the cause." (BloggingStocks)

  • Donna Martin Graduates: Television drama queen Tori Spelling and her highly fertile stolen husband welcomed a baby boy, Liam Aaron McDermott, yesterday in Los Angeles. (AH)

  • Family Ties: This Missouri cattle rancher looks just thrilled to meet his new cousin. I only wish I had a cousin as fun as Eartha Kitt Vy Higginsen, there. (NYT)

  • Rocky Mountain Hate: Arrests were made in a weekend Boulder, Colo., hate crime. I wonder what the other guy looked like. (CBS)
