Suze Orman: The 55-Year-Old Virgin

Money expert Suze Orman reveals in this weekend's New York Times Magazine that she's a lesbian. (As a courtesy, act surprised.) She says that her "life partner" is Kathy Travis and, "We're going on seven years. I have never been with a man in my whole life. I'm still a 55-year-old virgin." Orman says they'd like to get married, and both "have millions of dollars in our name. It's killing me that upon my death, K.T. is going to lose 50 percent of everything I have to estate taxes. Or vice versa." Good for Suze for making the news official. I guess when you move in with someone on the second date you kind of have to be good with your finances. Kudos to her for making a killing with this special lesbian skill. (AmericaBlog)

I sort of have a problem with Suze's statement that she's still a virgin... I mean, I hope she's been having sex with her partner, right? So, why does she come out as a lesbian but downplay it by saying she's a virgin just because she's never had sex with a man?

Or is that the rule? and does that apply to gay men who have never had sex with a women? Are they virgins too?

So when I had oral sex with my girlfriend in high school i took her virginity? what about the girl i fingered in 7th grade?. Sorry I can't agree with that definition. Sexual intercourse seems to be the accepted watermark of virginity.
Oh and Bill Clinton: There is a difference between sexual intercourse and "sexual relations". I definately related sexually to all those girls.

As far as gay men go: Sexual intercourse is sexual intercourse.
