Well even a bunch of church farts aren't buying the Rev. Ted Haggard's "didn't snort, didn't swallow" story: "We, the Overseer Board of New Life Church, have concluded our deliberations concerning the moral failings of Pastor Ted Haggard," a statement from the church said. "Our investigation and Pastor Haggard's public statements have proven without a doubt that he has committed sexually immoral conduct." (CBS/AP)
I'm already seeing a made-for-TV movie of it all. JM J. Bullock in the starring role (of course).

I may be unpopular for this, but I think we should do more to "out" or reveal the hypocrisy of closeted, lying gay men (and women) who hold powerful positions in the fundamentalist political-religious organizations such as the various evangelical churches and Republican party. (Ken Mehlman?) Those secret-gays who seek to destroy, reverse, or undermine the progress of gay rights, e.g. gay marriage, should be shown for their own venal, corrupt, immoral ways. How nice that Haggard's church publicly ate one of its own. I'm surprised he didn't claim he was addicted to crystal meth as an *excuse* for getting the "massage"? Isn't that basically what Foley did?
