Did you happen to see Martina Hingis win the Italian Open yesterday? Not only did she exact revenge on Venus Williams in the semifinals, the win -- her first tournament victory since February 2002 -- puts her back in the Top 15, just four months since returning to the tour.
It's a joyous thing to watch and will most definitely make the French Open far more exciting later this month.
Hingis' boyfriend, the unfortunate-looking Radek Stepanek, also had a great week on the tour reaching the finals of the German Open before falling to Tommy Robredo.
