I saw Chris Isaak open for Tina Turner years ago. He wore a jacket made with little mirrors (like on a disco ball). He was really cool.
Best album: the Baja Sessions. IMHO.
Chris Isaak is awesome. I have yet to see him in concert, but I'm dying to. Talent aside, the man is simply breathtaking. He's taken good care of himself.
Steve: I agree, the Baja Sessions rock.
Love his music, but not so sure about his face.... just not my cup of tea really.

My cuppa tea, my cuppa coffee, my cuppa runneth over for Chris. He's adorable, funny, incredibly witty, and he was gay-friendly before it was cool (it is cool in some quarters, I think). He's what every great looking straight man should be. Harry Connick Jr must have modeled himself after Chris. Good job, Harry.
Good choice. Chris is a local boy here in the bay area. Born in Stockton, CA and living in SF. I used to see him surfing on Ocean Beach. Real friendly, he would play with my dog (not a euphemism) a little while and chat about the surf. He plays the smaller outdoor venues in the bay area and sometimes shows up in the smaller clubs for an impromptu show. Unfortunately for me, he likes Asian women.
