This is very out of character for me, but I will be at the Iridium for Tristan McIntosh's "Linda Ronstadt Experience" tonight at 8:30 p.m. I have no idea what to expect but couldn't resist because I'm such a Linda queen, yet the only time I saw her live she was performing music from her Nelson Riddle albums. (I love that period, but it led to nasty booing and a mass exodus at -- where else? -- Jones Beach, leaving poor Linda to repeatedly announce: "Please refer to your ticket stubs," which clearly stated it was a night of standards.) Here's hoping Tristan can scratch my '70s-era itch! Ticket info for this evening HERE.
