I'm going to say what my dad used to say when I was a kid: Can't you just enjoy the fucking movie? You go through life critiquing and 'fixing' everything, it's a pretty miserable existence. Just sit back and turn your brain off for 2 hours and eat some popcorn.
@das buut: I agree. It was more that it wasn’t as good as I remembered than my looking at it through a 2022 lens.
