Song of the Day: 'Cinco de Mayo' by Liz Phair

In honor of El Día de la Batalla de Puebla, observed to commemorate the Mexican army's "unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín." May 5 is also the date I left Arizona for California in 1990 and never looked back!

I've used this before, so how about a live version to mix things up?!

"Cinco de Mayo" is fun to say.
That's probably why more people in the world know more about the day commemorating a battle within a war our army eventually lost, instead of Mexico's Independence Day (September 16), or the start of the Mexican Revolution (November 20).

Or maybe it's just breweries promoting a day to sell beer to Mexican Americans.
