Blondie Box Set Due in 2021

The long-rumored Blondie box set is finally coming. (Many believe Chris and Debbie's publishing deal is what was holding it up.) Question: I've bought everything they've ever released in just about every format imaginable -- LPs, 45s, 12-inch singles, compact discs, CD singles -- and now find myself streaming nearly everything (with backup digital for rare stuff). Could you see yourself buying something like this now? For me, it's about 10 years too late.

my last physical cd was a Lindsey Buckingham disk back in 2006. As much as I'd love the Blondie set, I don't see it happening. The liner notes on the reissue of at least 'Parallel Lines' were phenomenal. But this raises an iTunes (like) question: WHY are there no digital booklets anymore? It costs nothing - or next to - to include. They exist on the vinyl and cd copies. It's annoying.

It's Blondie. I'll buy it. I'm hoping it will have the rarities we've never been able to get our hands on, like the collaborations with Duran Duran back before the official re-formation, Debbie doing "Mind Over Matter" and "Liar, Liar" and the hard-to-find original NON-extended 45 of "Rush Rush" (though those are DH solo songs and probably tied up in copyright hell, too). For a while the cover of "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" was floating around on the Web; maybe that will be on here? And I'd like to have "We Three Kings" on CD, too. I still listen to CD's in my car. And, this may sound strange, but this group has given me so much pleasure over the decades that I feel as though I want to throw money at them. It's almost as if I owe them millions of dollars and this is a way to "give back." -- A fanboy from way back, and looking forward to the next NEW CD, too!
