I feel you - my father has two passions in life. Vodka, and vagina. I didn't qualify for either so he had no time for me. His loss, not mine. I've had a fantastic life without him.
You are not alone, mine did the same. :-(
Mine is a hypocrite born again homophobic christian. He put labels on the food and if your name wasn't there yo don't eat. Made me go to school with broken shoes where my toes were showing and raggedy old clothes, and nobody from the family showed up to my cosmetology graduation. Despite all of this I started a successful business and had a much better life without him.
