Song of the Day: 'Liberator' by O.M.D.

This one's a previously unreleased track that's included on Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark's40th anniversary box set and singles collection, "Souvenir." Indeed it was intended as the title track to the 1993 album of the same name but never made it onto the album. The title inspiration comes from Andy McCluskey's love of WWII aeroplanes. The guys say there were several demo versions recorded, but the one released is the nearest the song got to the intended sound.
