I have a blind spot when it comes to the Rolling Stones -- and to be honest, mostly of my own doing. I say mostly because I never go out of my way to learn about their music -- I'm the first one to put my hand up for John, Paul, George and Ringo when someone (inevitably) asks: "Beatles or Stones?" -- yet when "Under My Thumb" came on the other day it dawned on me that if I love it and didn't really even acknowledge it was by Mick & Co., who knows how many other gems they've recorded? (Recommendations welcome.)

hands down the best Stones song, If you have the chance, YouTube the portion of '20 Feet From Stardom" with this song. Great anecdote from the background singer.
