FBI Says Teen Found in Kentucky Isn't Timmothy Pitzen

WSJ reports that the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Louisville, Ky., said DNA results revealed that a teen who claimed he had run away from two kidnappers wasn’t Timmothy Pitzen, an Illinois boy who went missing in 2011.

The family had said that the appearance of the teen had given them the most hope of any day since the boy disappeared and that finding out he wasn't the boy was devastating.

"It's like reliving the day all over again," Kara Jacobs, Timmothy's aunt, told local reporters in a televised news conference. "We know you are out there, Tim, and we will never stop looking for you, praying for you and loving you," Ms. Jacobs said, reading a statement from the family.

The apparent hoax began Wednesday, when someone identifying himself as the missing boy approached a stranger and said he had just escaped two muscle-bound kidnappers.

The FBI said the person, who claimed to be a teenager, is actually 23-year-old Brian Michael Rini of Medina, Ohio.

If you cannot fathom why someone would do something so cruel to this boy's family, may I refer to you THIS DOCUMENTARY, which I still cannot believe is real?
