Sad to read about the too-soon death of Joni Sledge, whose sisterly group recorded two of the most memorable songs of the disco era in "He's the Greatest Dancer" and "We Are Family." But it was "Thinking of You" -- written by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards -- that was their true masterpiece, so much so that the legendary Paul Weller even covered it 2004.
