It seems the venerable Three Lives & Co. -- my favorite bookstore and yours -- has worked out a lease agreement with the building's new owners, fending off what promised to be the final straw in the slow death of mom-and-pop businesses in the West Village. So typical of 2016 -- like a waiter who ignored you the whole meal then starts being overly nice just as you're about to ask for the check. Read HERE.

This is great news! I thought my last visit to the bookstore was going to be last weekend when I was in NYC. YEAH!!
