Fidel Castro Is Dead at 90

The vile Cuban dictator -- who lived through every president since Eisenhower -- has finally died, just in time to not see relations with the U.S. disrupted again merely to spite President Obama.

One of the most evil bastards in the history of the world. He locked up thousands of gay men in concentration camps run by his brother Raul- whose daughter tries to pass herself of an advocate for gay rights.

Such a point of conflict, normalization of relations with Cuba and the rebuilding of their infrastructure could be a boon to Florida and the United States. There are a lot of consumers among Americans who would love to visit Cuba and Cubans seeking a better class of manufactured goods. Stupid Donald's first foreign policy failure.

Yes lets treat Cuba as a third world country whose only purpose is to help the US economy

Guess you understand all the workings of the politics and infrastructure needs of both countries , sure as well you have a bachelors or better in Cuban studies. My mothers best friend spent her honeymoon in pre-castro Havana. Cuba was a dictatorship under Batista but at least they had an economy even if it was like Vegas and Tijuana combined. Also not sure what you are implying but, number one I didn't vote Trump ,number two an economic boost that resulted in improved day to day life for Cuba isn't a bad thing. I'm sure you have also counted the other nations standing in line to modernize the rusty parts of Cuba as well as all the cruise lines , that are chomping at the bit to add another port of call. If you would like to address me personally. Kenny has my email .Would love to hear just what you know and what's wrong with helping the US economy , establishing relations with Cuba and making a profit for both countries. American dollars in Cuba are literally one of the hottest commodities. I also forgot to mention the Fortune 500 companies dying to take on Cuban business and the worldwide hoteliers-------
That would love to bring Cuba a living wage. As for normalization of relations with a third world country, unfortunately nobody cares except the Cuban expatriate community. That as well is mostly first and second generation. The Republicans give them their way, because it is a reliable voting block. Electing Mel Martinez , prior to the glorious Marco Rubio, as US Senators.

Yes Dwight I am a Cuban-American so my perspective on the Cuba is bit more personal. You do raise some interesting points. If the foolish embargo had been lifted Cuba would be a very different country- as long as the Castros control the government nothing is going to change for the better
