A couple of interesting demos have popped up on a Go-Go's page I follow. First, here's Kathy Valentine singing a demo of her song "Some Other Girl," later recorded as a single by her pre-Go-Go's band the Textones (it appears the record company wanted "Reason to Leave" to be the A-side and the band wanted this.) Once again, I get a bit of a Debbie Harry vibe off Kathy. But with the gritty lo-fi production, it sounds like an outtake from "Plastic Letters" more than "Debravation," which is to say it's incredibly fun!

The L.A. band Honeychain has been covering the song and finally recorded it in the studio!
