Because of his colorful road to adoption, we don't know Harvey's official date of birth. But when we got him I realized the shelter's estimate -- 1 year and 9 months -- made his second birthday approximately Sept. 5, which just happens to be the date my father and his twin, Kenny, made their debut in Pottsville, Pa., back in 1932.
