Hilarious that it turns out El Chapo had no idea who Sean Penn was -- he was just hot for this chica. Maybe it's time for us to be honest, too: Besides Jeff Spicoli, Sean Penn is about as good an actor as he is a journalist. Like Leo DiCaprio, I never got why I was supposed to accept that he was the "greatest actor of our generation."
I love that the GOP seems furious that diplomacy worked fine with Iran. Frankly, I don't think detaining our military personnel after they strayed into Iran's water is so outrageous. Some say the video was humiliating ... I actually saw it as showing they were treated well.
Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse in Flint: They're finally getting clean water they so desperately need -- but now 10 are dead and many more sick from Legionnaire's disease. Heartbreaking.

Since I know you are not a fan of fiction, you might find The Coming Plague by Laurie Garrett a good read. The chapter dealing with Legionnaire's, especially.
