Blondie's most ambitious -- and some would say best -- album came out 35 years ago this week. The amount of time that has passed is hard to believe, but not nearly as hard to believe as the fact that "Angels on the Balcony" was playing at my mom's local Fry's (grocery store) when we stopped in there on our way home from the airport. Can you IMAGINE?!!!

I do believe 'Autoamerican' is the band's best disk. I love everything about it. And I might have had to have my hearing checked if I thought any store would play 'Angels on the Balcony' in any store.
