Coroner: Pregnant woman dies after violent northwest Indianapolis home invasion

They're saying Mr. Handsome isn't a suspect, but the producers of "48 Hours" and I aren't buying it.
The woman assaulted and shot Tuesday morning during a northwest Indianapolis home invasion has died, according to her family's church. Amanda Blackburn passed away this morning. The victim was 28-year-old expectant mother, Amanda Blackburn. She was also mother to a 1-year-old child. The toddler was in the house during the attack, but was not hurt. The woman's husband, a pastor, was at the gym when the attack occurred and discovered the scene when he arrived home at 8:30 a.m.
A pastor? The gym? I say investigators start looking for his Grindr account now.

That is EXACTLY what I thought as soon as I saw this. Then I felt horrible for thinking it. So, thank you. For validation? Ha. I hope it's NOT true but, you know, preachers? Come on.

I agree 100%, so glad you posted this. He fits the profile, doesn't he? Young, newly married, newly "tied down", another baby on the way, divorce is not an option because his image depends on looking like a saint, big ego (come on, new dad, running a church and yet he is still making time to spend 2.5 hours at the gym, pictures in a convertible?), plus, he made sure to mention " she would have wanted me to continue what we've started down here.", as in "I won't be moving closer to her family, even though their grandchild is their only connection to her, because constantly being seen means I'll have to play the depressed widower and that will really cramp my style." I think the police suspect him, and they announced he wasn't a suspect so soon so he would think he got awah with it and get a little too relaxed. He probably thought that telling his hitman to also rob another house in the neighborhood would throw off the cops, OR, the hitman decided to take advantage of the opportunity of a dark neighborhood street and hit a house on the way. What do you think the logic is for the low reward? ($1000). Do you think they don't even need a reward offered because its just a matter of getting their ducks in a row to get this guy? It's disgusting, and just so very sad. I wonder how long it will take for the insurance company to cut him the life insurance check.

I'm pretty sure they've verified his gym visit by now., plus there's been a slew of home invasions in the neighborhood. Just sayin. He is hot, though.

@shle896 They never do it themselves, they pay someone and have an airtight alibi -- like being at a gym.

It's always the husband.
