Novak Djokovic Defeats Roger Federer for Wimbledon Title, Again

For the second year in a row, Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final, to capture his third title there and ninth major overall, surpassing Andre Agassi, Ivan Lendl and Jimmy Connors. After two highly contentious tiebreaks -- during which he turned into a cross between The Incredible Hulk (ripping off his shirt) and Cookie Monster (chowing down on something that was just barely missing crumbs flying everywhere) -- his 7-6 (1), 6-7 (10), 6-4, 6-3 win was fairly straightforward, and revealed that Novak is to Roger Federer what Roger Federer was to so many greats over the year: His hurdle to what could have been many more majors. Somewhere I imagine Andy Roddick is nodding in commiseration.

No. 5: My thoughts on this HERE.

Guess his failure to rip his shirt off is a good testament to Uniqlo? :)
