The Rules of Attraction: MSNBC Edition

I always find attraction to be an endlessly fascinating topic, so seeing "Less Than Zero" scribe Bret Easton Ellis post this ranking of MSNBC's "dudes" really hit my sweet spot. Lost about his No. 1. (Luke Russert was born the year Bret's first novel came out, btw.) Josh Barro is handsome, even if he has that annoying "I claim I'm a conservative even though everything I say and do says otherwise" thing going on. Ari Melber would certainly be high on my list. Toure's tennis knowledge adds to his sets sex appeal. Steve Kornacki isn't for me -- and Chris Hayes' intelligence doesn't cancel out his speech impediment. I think we all know where I stand on Thomas Roberts, however. How do the men of MSNBC measure up for you?

Luke Russert? More like Puke Russert. [Laughter.]

Oh yes, Thomas Roberts, such a juicy behind. Ari and Josh are wonderful. I would put Chris higher, but that's just me...

Barro is pretty, but he shouldn't open his mouth. Melber is good. I like Chris Hayes personally. Roberts should of course be higher too.

I'd have Ari higher if he'd agree never to talk about his choices in music.
