Our word for today boys and girls is Karma. Can you spell it? Can you put it in a sentence? I can. LOL
Like California's Prop 13 (1978!) -- that was the older CAs basically saying "We got ours, why should we pay for anyone else" (...Because your elders paid for you?...) -- conservatives want all the benefits but don't want to pay for them ... and when they don't sign up for the benefits and can't get them, they blame someone else.
Remember last year, guy in Texas (?) didn't want to pay a city tax for police and fire service (to keep them in service), and then has his house burn down, because the fire dept didn't respond. Karma is right.
What a piece of work!
