Happy World Book Day!

Just noticed today is World Book Day -- which happens to be the one-year anniversary of the release of my memoir, "Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?" Blows my mind how quickly the time went by, but cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience has been. Have heard from so many readers -- via email, Facebook and in person -- and have been deeply touched by the response. I'm often asked what the highlight of the whole experience was and while there were many, I'd have to say the signing at Book Soup in West Hollywood stands out the most. It was the perfect combination of old friends, new friends and blog fans all coming together. And with my name in a window on Sunset Boulevard -- a place I have spent many years as a fan boy to others -- I felt like a "real" author at last. (There was a line!) My best friend from Michigan, Mark, surprised me with these photos he had surreptitiously snapped that day, so it seemed like the perfect time to share them. Thanks again, everyone, for the support.

If you haven't had a chance to read it yet, "Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?" is available in select bookstores and via Amazon HERE.
