Anderson Cooper is reporting that this St. Louis Post Dispatch reporter has been put on leave, then the reporter said she's away because of the Family Medical Leave Act -- but NO ONE is saying whether or not she stands by what she tweeted. Anyone know? And getting to the more elementary question, what is the cop's version at this point?!
UPDATE: So the paper just issued a statement saying her tweets are "personal," but not disputing the veracity of them.

This whole scenario and the ensuing civil war could probably have avoided if police officers were to wear body cameras. One police precinct that introduced them reported not only 60% less violence by officers but a whopping decrease in complaints by 88%!
