When the restaurant 18th and 8th became a Valley National Bank and condo building, I hoped it was just a real estate opportunity that was too good to pass up. But then Food Bar became Chipotle, Big Cup and Bendix Diner became nail salons, and Rawhide was slated to become a make-it-yourself pizza joint.
