Teenage Aussie wildcard Nick Kyrgios reminded me a lot of Marat Safin and Maria Sharapova in their breakthrough Grand Slams, dismantling the World No. 1 in a way that was as brilliant as it was fearless. Truly breathtaking stuff.

Well, ten years ago it was the teenage Nadal who climbed from the low ranks into the top by stunning Layton Hewitt and Roger Federer. I love Rafa, amazing talent. But, this is great for the sport -- good challenges make for better tennis.
