Plus and Minus

It's come to my attention recently that nonplussed actually means the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I -- and eeryone else I've ever heard use it -- thought it did. 

But now I see that Google's dictionary added an "informa" North American definition that is how we use it, so now I'm completely nonplussed.
