So thrilled to see my pal Kathy Valentine get inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame by none other than Debbie Harry. (You may recall Kath dated Blondie drummer Clem Burke forever, and later contributed two songs to the band's comeback LP, "No Exit.") Pity that her big moment was dampened by a car plowing into a crowd at SXSW leaving two dead and more than two-dozen injured.
