Ru the Day

I'm sorry, I was born without the drag-queen gene. (My mom's tongue was scary enough.) But if you, like 99.9 percent of gay men, are a fan of "RuPaul's Drag Race," then you will hate yourself if you don't go and get the Spanx-enhanced skinny on the new season HERE!

"like 99.9 percent of gay men"

You might want to check your stats again, especially for gays under 40.

Well, add me to the non-drag people, but I certainly admire their artistry and talent. It's just not something that intrigues me enough to watch a (rigged?) television contest. I do get a kick out of funny queens, like Coco Peru, though. But aren't those stockings in the photo a big drag no-no? Or is that part of the camp? Annnndddd, I don't care again. Still, best of luck to those talented folk.

P.S. Henry, the under 40 crowd I get exposed to regulary in WeHo, Seattle, Chicago, and Atlanta seem to love it. Maybe I'm at the wrong bars on the wrong nights?

I'm with you, Kenneth. While I can enjoy a little of RuPaul's show if The Other Half is watching it, to say that I don't really "get it" would be an understatement. I have zero against people who dig it, but I just don't.

I think that .1 percent is expanding ... count me in. (If I was interesting in women, I'd looked at women. I'm interested in men, I don't want to see men dressed like women.)
