A Frank Dancevic

Retuers reporst that Canadian Frank Dancevic briefly passed out during his first-round match against France's Benoit Paire on the uncovered Court 6 at Melbourne, and then later slammed Australian Open organizers for forcing players to compete in "inhumane" conditions as temperatures rose to 41 degrees Celsius (108 degrees Fahrenheit) on Tuesday. Inhumane indeed. We used to play during the day in Phoenix when it would top 110 outside and I've got the brain-damage to prove it! This is hardly a new problem Down Under, though. Who could forget watching Martina Hingis melt on court versus Jennifer Capriati in the 2002 final, blowing a 6–4, 4–0 lead?
