This overhead shot of the set of "I Love Lucy" -- bedroom with twin beds, living room, kitchen, and The Club -- made the rounds yesterday. I love stuff like this -- my high school career counselor gave me a test that concluded I should either be a menu writer or a set decorator! -- although some have questioned whether the photo is real or just miniature replicas. Either way, the Ricardos' apartment was at the fictional 623 East 68th Street, which would actually have needed to be a house boat!

OOPS! Didn't see the bottom picture for some reason-that looks real, but the top is definitely a miniature!
You can check out exact reproductions of the sets from the show at the Lucille Ball museum in Jamestown, NY. My husband drug me there a couple year ago.
