Wow, this really makes me feel like an old-time New Yorker. Barneys -- which was located on Seventh Avenue between 16th and 17th when I arrived in the city before closing and reopening a Co-Op location on my block in Chelsea, which is also now closed -- will reclaim (part of) its Seventh Avenue location taking back the space now occupied by Loehmann’s, which is in bankruptcy proceedings.(Sheesh!) The Rubin Museum will reportedly not be affected by the musical buildings. No word on whether Jack McFarland will be decorating any upcoming Christmas windows. "Hold on to your yellow teeth!"
