Children's Author Tackles Same-Sex Relationships

Since everyone I know and their boyfriend are having babies, I thought you might want to know about this, a children's book that features a homosexual male character in a positive light :
Bestselling multimedia children’s author Daniel Errico releases his newest story, "The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived," following a strong-minded boy who grows up to be a heroic knight.

Cedric, the bravest knight, is one of the first children's book characters to not just be part of an LGBT family, but to be a homosexual protagonist himself. It’s after he saves the day and defeats a pumpkin-eating dragon that his love for a prince, and not a princess, is revealed.

“When it comes to young children and what we expose them to there is a clearly skewed ratio between heterosexual and homosexual relationships to a misleading degree. It's the job of any children's author to introduce the world to their young readers in a safe, fun, and nurturing way, and in this case, normalize what is an important part of many people's lives.” Daniel said. “I wanted to take a classic fairytale structure and just substitute one ending for the possibility of another. Cedric is a regular hero, who has his own idea of what his happy ending should be."
Indeed. Now if only he had a fairy godmother who could get a pre-order link up on Amazon.com -- he might be able to move some books!
