That guy is a traitor! He should be hanged for treason, lucky he got a light sentence for the stuff he did.
Yet the guy who was the head of Abu Grahib prison where war crimes were committed got an $8,000 fine. No one from Wall Street who nearly brought down the worlds economy has suffered one bit.
Manning should have been given time served. Especially after he was tortured while awaiting trial.
He took an oath to the President and this country. Regardless of your faith, race, or political party. Once you make that pledge and break it, you ARE a traitor. If you can't abide by that, then you have no business in the armed services. For the record, I am as liberal as they come, however, I do believe in loyalty to your country and your word.
