My friend Mark and I will get on the phone every so often and decide to sing, say, Cyndi Lauper songs "as Cher" ... and then will wind up in hysterics for hours. Clearly, we are not alone! The song's execution here is not great, but it's hard not to love a queen who went to the trouble of putting this together. (The video is brilliant!) Frankly, I've never liked this song -- "Ray of Light" should have been the lead single -- and it doesn't lend itself to the "Cher voice" the way nearly every other song in the world does. (Remind me to do my "Time After Time" or "I Drove All Night" for you next time we're alone!)
