Some of New Jersey Thinks I'm Worse Than NAMBLA

An e-mail from a reader:
Hey Kenneth -- I just thought I should let you know -- in case you don't -- that your blog is banned from the wifi at Meridian Health, one of New Jersey's largest hospital groups. I tried to call up "in the 212" last Thursday while I was in pre-op, and I got a message telling me that, because of content, I could access it. Since there's a certain amount of NSFW content, I wasn't too surprised until I noticed that just about all the other blogs I know with comparable LGBT content (Towleroad, Boy Culture, Joe My God, Queerty, Dlisted, etc.) came up right away. And, to test the limits, I had no trouble pulling up the NAMBLA website as well. What did you possibly do to offend the medical establishment of New Jersey? ;-) Patrick

I worked @ Meridian for 11 years & it doesn't surprise me at all. I once tried to look up outpatient resources in Monmouth county for an elderly gay patient & almost all the results wet blocked. For being one of the first NJ hospital systems to recognize same-sex couple visitation rights (back in the 90s) I was really quite surprised.
