While Debbie Harry entertained the high-end crowd at Anna Wintour's Costume Institute gala at the Met last night -- the museum's big spring exhibit is "Punk: Chaos to Couture," after all --my friend Christopher and I were dressed in plaid for a '90s throwback evening with the Breeders at Webster Hall. Kim and Kelley and the gang were fashionably late, not even taking the stage until 11 p.m. -- we killed time over Peruvian food on First Avenue -- but they did not disappoint, rocking out to the entire "Last Splash" LP to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The encore choices were questionable, but after hearing "Drivin' on 9" live, who's in any position to complain?
