After watching this rally against Mikhail Youzhny, you'd never guess that Novak Djokovic almost didn't play this week in Monte Carlo due to a twisted ankle. Nole and Rafael Nadal advanced today, while Andy Murray fell to the resurgent Stanislas Wawrinka. In addition to the tax breaks, I can see why everyone lives here -- it's gorgeous!!!

Didn't learn this until maybe last year (after following tennis for 20+ years), but the tournament is played in a nearby town in France and not actually in Monte Carlo, Monaco. It's named after the Monte-Carlo Country Club. Still gorgeous, either way!
