Song of the Day: 'Crazy Love' by Poco

Sorry, but this one takes me back to playing tennis at Village Racquet Club in Warren, Michigan, when I was in sixth grade. If it wasn't Al Stewart or the Little River Band being piped in to the indoor tennis facility, it was Poco, who sang about something I could only dream of. Funny that the band would have its biggest success after its founding, and most talented, members -- Richie Furay and Jim Messina, picking up the pieces after Buffalo Springfield broke up -- had long since departed.

In the Heart of the Night... as well. Legend was a great little l.p. with an iconic cover. 1976 - 1979 were good years for the California sound. - Uptonking from Wonderland Burlesque
