7 the Hard Way


 Look what's opening near my apartment. When the first 7-Eleven popped up in Times Square a few years ago I thought it was kind of kitschy and retro. (The only way it could have reminded me more of my childhood would be if it had been a Qwik-Pik or Circle K!) But now that they're multiplying at an alarming rate -- clearly in an attempt to run all of the bodgegas out of business -- I'm over it, even with their purchasing-power lower prices and Coke Zero Big Gulps ...

@SFRowGuy: Would you believe places like 7-Eleven are EXEMPTED from the law, which seems to be written toward places like them!
