The Last Temptation of Michael

If you're as obsessed with "Parting Glances" as I am -- see proof HERE, HEREHERE and HERE -- then you'll be happy to know that Adam Nathan, who played the aggressive twink, Peter, from the record shop, has been located after a 25-year absence. He's a writer now -- but even more importantly you can see what he looks like today HERE!

Speaking of which, here's a recent picture "Michael" (aka Richard Ganoung)!

"Parting Glances" is in my all-time Top 20. Beautiful film.

And Adam Nathan! Insanely good-looking guy who absolutely nailed the role of mid-80s New Wave Golden Boy twink. Wish he'd done more film work.

Now I've got to go load "Parting Glances" into the DVD player, and watch his scene on the stoop w/Steve Buscemi for the 47th time.

I remember Parting Glances from back during my college years. Adam Nathan was HOT! It was also the very first time I saw Steve Buscemi in anything, but he’s been nearly ubiquitous since then! Great actor. When Adam Nathan jumped out at Steve B on the staircase and Steve called him a twinkle to which Adam replied “ah yes, but I’m a Wolf in Twinkie clothing” . Yes, he was totally memorable; but I knew at the time that of have fallen into the category of those who thought he was hot and therefore would have not impressed him at all, as opposed to Michael who was totally oblivious to him and thereby drive him crazy...! Ain’t that always the way..?! :-) He’s totally bald now too, typical! :-)
