'Master' and Servant

Wow. Went to see P.T. Anderson's latest, "The Master," last night with Michael, Frank and Craig. If you agree with one of the positive reviews of this pretentious piece of crap, might I suggest you read a lovely short tale by Hans Christian Andersen?

Sounds like a letdown. I was hoping it would be good. A movie that looks with jaundiced eye at L. Ron Hubbard is one I am keen to see.

@ Steve: I was all for the L. Ron Hubbard expose, but trust me... this was NOT it. Poor Kenneth! I felt so bad sitting between him and Craig -- esp. when they almost burst out laughing at what I'm sure would be considered a "very serious moment." This was a TOTAL letdown... We should've gone to see The Perks of Being a Wallflower :-(

oh thank g-d. It was HORRIBLE. I couldn't figure out what I might have been missing - and you helped convince me I wasn't nutso.

I don't mean to shill for my blog, but this was my review a week ago: http://www.blobbysblog.com/2012/09/master-and-servant.html
