Longtime readers know I used to have a major crush on Brady Quinn, a standout quarterback at Notre Dame back in the day before getting eaten up in the pros. Touted as a "franchise quarterback" going into the 2007 draft, with talk of his being the No. 1 overall pick, he then slipped to the 22nd, before being signed by the Browns. Injuries and lackluster performances then saw him traded to the Broncos and then the Chiefs. Well, just when it seemed like he should sign with the Ford Modeling Agency and be done with football altogether, comes news that Brady will be starting his first game since 2009! (Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay with a concussion.) I don't really care who wins, of course.
